Outdoor Learning Teacher Training

Our Outdoor Learning Teacher Training is a practical and hands-on session designed to enhance teaching by integrating the natural environment into core curriculum learning. The session can be delievered to specific teacher groups within your school or as a whole school training opportunity.

The key elements of the course include:

• Maths: Utilise the outdoors to teach math concepts in a hands-on and enjoyable manner.
• English: Bring words to life by drawing inspiration from the natural environment, fostering conversation skills, and expanding vocabulary.
• Science: Explore creative ways to take science lessons outdoors.

Additionally, the training has cross-over elements with other curriculum areas, including Health & Wellbeing, RE, Design Technology, and Art & Design. By embracing outdoor spaces, educators can create meaningful learning experiences and build confidence in teaching outdoors.
